Privacy
We collect what you send. Nothing else.
No advertising trackers, no cookie banner, and nothing sold to anyone. This page describes exactly what happens to the information you give us.
What we collect
When you submit an application, we receive the answers you typed: your name, your email address, what you do, where your work has been seen, and the idea you described.
Along with those answers, our application handler records the time of submission, the browser user-agent string your device sends, and the two-letter country code our host derives from your connection. We do not store your IP address.
If you use the “Say your idea in one sentence” box on our homepage, what you type stays in your browser. It is never sent to us or anyone else.
Where it is stored
Applications are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a storage service run by Cloudflare, who also host this website. Only people at Idea to Stage can read them. We do not share applications with anyone outside the company, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without building a profile of you.
Third parties that see a request
A few services necessarily receive standard technical request data, such as your IP address, because your browser fetches files from them:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and delivers every page.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces.
- jsDelivr, which serves the animation libraries.
- YouTube, which serves the thumbnails of our clients' talks and, when you hover over or play one, the video itself through its privacy-enhanced player.
- Apple Podcasts, Spreaker and YouTube, which serve the episode players on our podcast page.
- Calendly, if you open the scheduling page or book a call.
None of these receive your application answers.
How long we keep it
We keep an application while we are considering it and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case the conversation resumes. After that we delete it, and we will delete it sooner if you ask.
Your choices
Write to us at any time to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We action deletion requests promptly and confirm when it is done.

If how we handle information changes, this page changes with it, and the date below will tell you when.
